The New York State Senate introduced three departmental bills, advanced by the APA, designed to benefit the Adirondack Park.

Chairman Curtis F. Stiles said, “These bills were prepared with the best interest of the Adirondack Park in mind.  They help address the critical need for affordable housing and establish a predictable funding source for local government planning efforts. In addition, we carefully evaluated our administrative process and proposed changes that will improve overall Agency efficiency, streamline the project review process and expand flexibility for transferring development rights.”
